Pastor's Corner

Good Morning Again,
This coming Thursday we shall celebrate the national
holiday known as Thanksgiving. It is a time to give thanks to our great
God for all His goodness and gifts to us. It is usually a time to be with
family and friends to enjoy the company of those we love and share in a moment
of gratitude to the Heavenly Father for His grace and mercy in our lives.
This year we shall enjoy the tradition of turkey with
all the trimmings for the meal. I shall be challenged to eat until I am
only full with dessert to follow a little later. And, then it will be
enjoyable to have another helping of the leftovers late in the day.
This year we shall miss Dan & Dave from our midst, but
it will give us a time to remember them and pray for them specifically. It
is good to see time go by and God's wonderful protection of our sons and others
that we know personally preserving our freedoms in other nations of our world.
Again, the most important part is the time that we take to say, "Thank You" to
our God for His protection and the miracles of watching over our soldiers on the
field.
It is time to thank God for many things that He has
given and done for us. The most important gift is that of eternal life
that we have been given by His matchless grace. It is so wonderful to just
simply trust in the living God for our salvation.
On top of all that, He has allowed us to live in
America where we are free to go about in our modern vehicles and enjoy the
company of others. May you lift up your voice and be counted as one who
wholeheartedly thanks God from the bottom of your heart.
Very, very grateful,
